24 September all roads lead to the East Side of GP, for what was promised to be one of Provence's monumental event. What was to be expected from big guns like CASTLE LITE, METRO FM, Soul Candi and "Mansi for sho" SABC 1, -of course it was going to be epic-. The weather was not playing along but that didn't diminish the spirits of the revelers congregating at the venue, Wild Waters in Boksburg East of Johannesburg....what an awesome spot to host a grand events like that.


With Heavy weights like Grego Salto, Chappell, Black Coffee, Oskido, Fresh and 5 dance floors with other top notch djs on decks. The dance floors were bound to be set alight by house junkies feeling the tunes like a daily fix supplied by maters on the decks... This was not the last of it they also had out of this world performances bby Liquid Deep, Dj Kent with Relo and many more..

It was build up to be one of the spectacles of the year and it leaved up to it. Now if you missed jus sit and pray there will be one in the coming year. We clearly need more of these super events.

Roisin Murphy, now a lot of you would not have the light bulb on when this name is mentioned amongst the greatest of house vocalists. Ok lets end your misery, she's probably known for her in bieng the front lady of the legendary Molloko. Roisin has been in the group for 18 years which formed when she meet with Mark Brydon in collage. They signed a deal for six album with Echo and released their first 1995 titled ''Do you like tight sweater''. In 2001 Molloko once again gave us one of the finest albums to date ''All black to the Mine'' which had the classic tune ''sing it back''

Roisin Murphy has been had at work in the years giving us sweet honey like voice on features whilst working on her own projects. She has three album under stature, she released her first one ''Ruby blue'' 2005 that's a cross over of styles whilst keeping in the electronic genre. Her music reaches all boundaries and seems to be appealing to European junkies. Roisin released her current album in 2010 titled ''Mommas Place" and I personally endorse this ladies effort.

This lady is sure one of house music pearls.

We would like to pay tribute to one of house music pioneers, Ms Lisa Shaw a true house diva. Lisa has been around the scene for more than a decade, her first single written by Dj Smash back 1995 titled ''makin love making''. she had since cemented her role as one of the prolific vocalist in the house scene.

Lisa Shaw also was featured by most of indies in New York where she resides for the past twelve years. She worked on singles with her writing partner Dave Warren, they finally came with a world famous track called''Always".This propelled Lisa to greater heights that even Madonna was impressed with the song. Lisa Shaw released her debut album in 2005 called ''Cherry", with an all time favorite ''let it ride'' being feature in so many compilations. She followed it up with another scotching album ''Free".

Lisa is one gem in this house faculty.

This is one of the one of the finest deep house flava has to offer. Martin Iveson better known as Atjazz, has been in scene for more than a decade. He first started out as a computer game developer for 13 years, then decided to go on and what he loves best.....music that touches everyone souls. In 1996 he released his EP first work "THE STORY", which did very good in Japan. He followed it up with two more projects ''LABFUNK' & "LABRESULTS".

Atjazz established himself in the underground scene, he's also a formidable force with remixing and reworks. He has worked with the likes of Nitin Sawhney, Bob Sinclar and Omar, he's even been called by EMI to do a rework of Henri Manici's "Pink Panther". He's also worked on our own Black Coffee's "WE ARE ONE" featuring Bra Hugh Masekela. Mr Atjazz has teamed up with a giant in the house scene Charles Webster for what promises to be a monumental project.

Atjazz is also headed to our shores and gave us some of his hot tunes, I looked forward to being dazzled by his genius tunes and believe me raving reviews i got were from one of his loxion tours were to astonishing, I mean this dude had the crowd rocking and some people didn't know who he was. I swear when you're good at what you do will definitely kill any competition, the dude tearing dance apart.......

Ok, so its 2011 and this guy does not seem like his reached his peak. From his very first single "Fugama Unamate" featured on Dj Mbuso's compilation. Dj QNESS keeps rising in statue.In 2010 he came with a slaming tune "Uzongilinda" with Malehloka on the vocals...Dj QNESS is a self taught Producer and Dj, now that more than some can handle.

He is back again with another dazzling single "Time" that's blazing the dance floors. The album is repackaging of his first album. The album also packs a remixes of "Miles Away" and "Uzongilinda". Now this album is set to be a bridge for the 2nd official album with collabos with him and Malihloka, we really anticipating your next product baba.

He is said to be one of S.A s top disk jockeys, Lulo cafe brings house junkies on the dance floors with track selection. A marvel to the ears and soul Lulo Cafe has been on the scene since 2003. Lulo Cafe's first album was a soulful success, "Deep House Chronicals 2", the album had scintillating jams.

He is now back with an awesome and heart warming track "I wana Love You" ft Nothende. We have to give the two props as they both have done more than justice to track, uNothende and seductive vocals over mesmerising beats of Lulo just takes one away into a soulful comma and rush to floor...............This beautiful offering is on Lulo Cafe's new album "What About Soul." This album is set to keep the cold nights away. Now if my ears are any thing to go by, this young man is up there with the greats in the S.A music scene. Dj Kent winner of the Best Urban Dance category at the 2011 S.AMA's has been making us burn the dance floors since 2005 with "Urongo" feturing Ntsiki Mazwai.*Awesome tune*by Kentphonik.

Dj Kent launched himself to our ears with production trio Kentphonik in 2007 which gave us hot tunes like "Hiya kaya"& "more than friends". Kentphonik was later was dissolved. As a producer Kent released his debut album under 88 Production called "Mixing Business with pleasure" in 2008 & followed it up with another club thriller album by Relo "Gift of life"*dankie sister* Kent went on to take the for 2008/2009.

Kent has released another monster hit actually dude has two ginormous tunes reaping the house freaks in the country & off shores, "Lets fall in love" ft Relo & "Falling" ft Maleh. Kent has also worked with other South African songstresses the man has a good ear for enticing vocals for his tunes. We here at Fitmagmusic salute a young pioneer of this great musical movemnet......Dj Kent!!! Dj Kent!!! Dj Kent!!!!!
